HUBC Fosters Atmospheric Science Education at Elementary and Middle School Levels

Thanks to their sponsors, NCAS-M, NASA DEAP, and CUSP-ARR, on Thursday, June 18, 2026, Howard University…

HUBC is located approximately 12 miles
northeast of downtown Washington, DC,
on 110 acres in suburban Maryland.

The campus is in a suburban/rural setting.
Less than 5 percent of the HUBC land area is occupied by building structures, making it an ideal environment for studying a range of surface atmospheric interaction processes.
