Located on the rooftop of the new Interdisciplinary Research Building (IRB) at Howard University’s main campus, major atmospheric studies are done over the District of Columbia such as upper air measurements of thermodynamic parameters (Microwave Radiometer), aerosols profiles (Ceilometer), and rain measurements (Distrometer).
