HUBC organized a balloon marathon for the April 8th, 2024, solar eclipse from 5:00am to 9:00pm. A total of 9 radiosondes (RS92) were launched before, during, and after the eclipse. Students, professors, and scientists participated for this epic event to see the atmospheric impact of the partial eclipse (87% coverage) over the DC-Baltimore metro area.
