Howard University Beltsville Campus (HUBC) personnel has been training Joshua Richards from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) for the past few weeks with weather balloon launches. As a grad student, he has been tasked to launch radiosondes and ozonesondes over UMBC and some of his training has been taking place here at HUBC. Joshua has been able to launch a few sondes already with the help of Rocio Rossi and Adrian Flores. He is ready to apply his knowledge over UMBC and do simultaneous launches with HUBC in the future.
