On April 24, 2025, the NOAA Center for Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology (NCAS-M) held their annual meeting over NOAA’s headquarters in Silver Spring, MD, and Howard University Beltsville Campus (HUBC) took part in this event. Main topics were discussed like broaden and deepen engagements with NOAA line offices, focusing on research opportunities and student training. Plus, expand and streamline NCAS-M research initiatives and student training strategies. HUBC plays a huge roll on these topics and it is working hard to excel on them.

On April 25, 2025, the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) held their Earth Day Symposium (EDS) with the focus on Emerging Scientists Amid Policy Change. Nakul Karle from HUBC was one of the presenters for this exciting event. HUBC is always present on current events.
