The University Coordinated Radiosonde Project (UCRP) contacted Howard University Beltsville Campus (HUBC) to launch a couple more iMet-4 radiosondes for a cold front passing by the Washington-Baltimore metro areas on March 5, 2025, around noon. Our team was so dedicated and braved the elements to successfully launch the two radiosondes on time. Lead by Rocio Rossi (left), Zhifeng Yang (right), and Ricardo Sakai (not pictured), they endured high winds, heavy rain, and some thunder at the distance. This shows you the commitment and passion from our students and personnel to do live-action research.
