The 105th American Meteorological Society Annual Meeting started its first day with hundreds of presentations and HUBC had a couple of presenters. Our Masters student Neil Crosby (above picture) presented an electronic poster about Urban Heat Islands (UHI) and precipitation patterns over the Mid-Atlantic region and Post-Doc Dr. Nakul Karle (below picture) presented a poster about Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL) turbulent properties using Raman Lidar. The research presented on these posters are under the NCAS-M grant.
