Last Day of AGU24

Nothing last forever and AGU24 is done, but not before with a great exposure of science and knowledge to the community through out the week. Everything from talks, posters, and exhibits, AGU once again has shown that communicating science to the masses can make a huge difference not only here, but around the world, and HUBC is no stranger to this either. Today we hosted two collaborators that were attending the annual meeting, Duane Rosenberg from NOAA and Sheng-Hsiang (Carlo) Wang from the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at National Central University, Taiwan. They toured our campus, witness a radiosonde launch performed by our new researcher Rocio Rossi, and enjoyed a great cookout (photo above). Even our lead investigator Belay Demoz joined us to discuss research and collaboration. AGU is a great vehicle to showcase what HUBC can offer to the scientific community and we will continue with this mission in the next meeting. See you next year AGU25!

Thank you to all the people that makes science possible!
Can’t wait to check the Exhibit Hall next year!
See you in New Orleans!
