On December 4th, 2024, HUBC got a new research van from NOAA. After serving its purpose over the Golf of Mexico and then stationed at Oak Ridge, TN, the research van will now have a new home at the Beltsville campus acquiring atmospheric data all thanks to Winston Luke and the NOAA/Air Resources Laboratory (ARL) and the Atmospheric Sciences Modeling Division (ASMD). Researchers and students from Howard University and other institutions will take advantage of this great opportunity to expand their studies.
