During the month of March, Howard University Beltsville Campus (HUBC) had some important visitors with plans to collaborate and work at our facilities. For example, Dr. Jason St. Clair (picture above) from NASA’s Joint Center for Earth Systems Technology (JCET) at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). He is planning to bring an instrument to enhance our atmospheric measurements with a network that expands the mid-Atlantic region. Another visitor was Justin Maurice Fleming (picture below) from Penn State University. He is planning to continue his studies at Howard University and work this summer at HUBC. And finally, but not last, Dr. Royce James (last picture below) from the Physics Department at Howard University. He is a plasma scientist looking to establish a lab in the grounds of HUBC. Can’t wait to see what April will bring us!
